At Mary’s Garden, our story is rooted in the soil of British Columbia. Founded in 1966 by Mary and Jack Nootebos, our farm began as a small family-run roadside stand. Over the decades, it grew into a beloved local staple known for fresh-picked produce and a personal touch. In 2022, the Gill family proudly took over the reins, bringing generations of farming expertise and a passion for sustainability.

The Gill family has deep roots in agriculture, having supplied fruits and vegetables across Canada and internationally for years. With experience serving chain stores like Costco, Loblaws, and Sobeys, we’ve always prioritized freshness, quality, and connection to the land. Our new chapter at Mary’s Garden allows us to focus even more closely on our local community and the seasonal rhythm of the farm.

We’re proud to grow much of what we sell, right here in Morgan Creek. Every day, our team is out in the fields picking produce at peak ripeness, ensuring it’s as fresh as possible when it reaches your basket. Whether you’re here for a handful of herbs or a full trunk of seasonal veggies, you’re supporting a business that believes in local first.
